Data locked in proprietary hardware or file formats is not free - but it needs to be. When your data is free, you have control, not your system provider or hardware vendor. All files in Twisted Storage are stored in their native format unless a policy causes them to be converted before being stored. Your data remains your data and can be moved, copied, deleted or changed.
Hardware Independence
If a server can run any major enterprise OS, it can run Twisted Storage. Twisted Storage can turn virtually any combination of hardware and operating systems into a single heterogeneous federated storage system.
Federated Storage Provides Business Flexibility
